An interactive way to learn about Hip-hop and music history

The Rock ‘n Pop museum in Gronau, Germany recently purchased a Yalp Fono DJ-booth, and have since made it part of their permanent exhibition. The placement gives visitors a playful, interactive way to learn about Hip-hop and music history.“ What we really like about the Yalp Fono is that it requires virtually no explanation. As a result people just walk up to it and use it,” says Inga Fransson of the Rock n’ Pop museum. “Especially the teenagers love the Yalp Fono – we notice they all walk up to it and start experimenting with their music. I think they  really appreciate the way they can use their own mobile phones to create music. It just makes it personal.”

Inga Fransson – Rock n Pop Museum, Gronau reveals: “In a while, we’ll actually put the Yalp Fono outside. In the near future it’ll become a meeting point and entertainment area, so kids can share their music and hang out with their friends. We really appreciate our collaboration with Yalp, and their emphasis on teamwork. We realized this together and the technical service is really great.”

“The Fono is much more interactive than any other playground equipment.”
